My name is Liz, the owner of Top Dog Grooming. I have always had pet dogs which I enjoy and keep them looking their best. At the beginning of Jan 2009 I travelled to Oswestry, Shropshire for a month where I completed my City & Guilds in Dog Grooming. I also gained three diplomas in Canine Health, Safety & First Aid, Dog Grooming Practical & Theory, and Salon Management.
I learnt about all the different breeds and their coat types and the styles for specific breeds.I also learnt about parasites and other skin problems that can affect dogs and how best to treat a dog to minimise the risk of them occurring.

I know that it is sometimes hard to ascertain that a dog has a skin or other underlying problem and that having your dog thoroughly checked over and groomed by a professional can help uncover these problems before they become serious.
All the equipments that I use at Top Dog Grooming are of the highest standards and my grooming studio is a safe and hygienic environment where your dog will be pampered and loved as if one of my own!
